We support all web publishing programs that publish using FTP, which is
the most common type of system used for uploading files to your server.
We are not able to provide instructions for all the different programs that
can be used to publish your web site, but the configuration options all
come down to four main things:
1. Server Name:
Once your domain name is actively pointing to our servers, you would
specify www.mydomain.com as your server name. If you need to publish before
your domain is active, you will need to obtain your web server address
from our account manager by selecting "Web Server Info" under
the "Your Website" tab.
2. Path/Directory/Folder:
The folder containing your website files is / (the top level folder).
3. Login username: user@yourdomain.com
Use the username that you were assigned or that you have selected.
4. Login password: yourpassword
Use the password that you were assigned or that you have selected.
All other setting that your program may have are not necessary for the
successful publishing of your website.
If all else fails, please remember that you can access your website using
our file manager which is located in our account manager under the "Your
Website" tab.
